Oltre alla rottura del cavo, l’inchiesta della Procura di Verbania dovrà stabilire perché non abbia funzionato il freno di emergenza della cabina precipitata dalla funivia dello Stresa-Mottarone. “Sono tutte supposizioni, ma credo ci sia stato un doppio problema – dice il responsabile provinciale del Soccorso alpino, Matteo Gasparini -: la rottura del cavo e il mancato funzionamento del freno di emergenza.
